Charlene M. (Paolillo) Vaughan (1969-2025)

Charlene M. ‘Cha’ ‘Shi-Lene’ (Paolillo) Vaughan of Somerville passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family & friends at the age of 55. She graduated from the Somerville High School Class of 1987.

Born in Cambridge, Charlene was raised & educated in Somerville. She is the beloved daughter of Diana (Duarte) Paolillo and the late Anthony (Sonny) Paolillo. She is survived by her loving & loyal husband Harold E. Vaughan III, their son Harold E. Vaughan IV, and their fur baby Klova. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph Paolillo and his wife Denise of Medford, MA, Christopher Paolillo of Somerville, MA, Mark Paolillo and his wife Lori of Derry, NH, and Eric Vaughan and his wife Marisa of Saugus, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & extended family members as well as many dear friends.

Charlene was in the banking industry for 35 years and was well respected amongst her peers. Charlene’s passions included spending time with her family & friends, traveling, going to concerts with Harry, and gambling at the casino. Her all-time favorite activity was laying by the pool in her backyard or at the beach.

Charlene will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at Boston Cremation, located at 287 Main Street Malden, MA. 781-322-0909
