Tom Miller is a retired businessman who does voiceover work and writes poetry. He is also the lead guide at two historical houses in Salem MA owned and operated by Historic New England.  His work has appeared in The Muddy River Poetry Review, The Wilderness House Literary Review, Ibbetson Street, First Literary East and a variety of other journals as well as several anthologies. Tom is a frequent performer at various venues on the North Shore and in the Greater Boston area. A native of Ohio he resides in Ipswich, MA, with his wife and a very stubborn but lovable dog.

Somerville Homeless Coalition awarded Sincere Foundation grant

Among the recipients is the Somerville Homeless Coalition.

Sincere Foundation  announced that it has completed its first full grant cycle and distributed $250,000 across twenty nonprofit organizations that address basic needs in Massachusetts. The grants support programs that align with Sincere Foundation’s three key funding priorities: food security, housing stability, and safe spaces. Boston-based technology company Sincere Corporation created Sincere Foundation in 2023. The Foundation is made possible by the support of the Company’s family of brands: Punchbowl®, Timehop®, and Memento®.

Somerville Police Crime Log January 2-8

Assault
On 1/4/24 at approximately 9:40 p.m, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was out to dinner with a group of people and an altercation ensued. During the altercation, the victim was attacked by four individuals.
