Woodly Dodieu, of 37 Johnson St., Taunton, May 8, 8:02 p.m., arrested at New Washington St. on charges of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, drug possession to distribute, and furnishing a false name or Social Security number.

Loving father of Roberto Rodrigues, Antonio “Tony” Rodrigues and his wife Brenda, Rui Rodrigues, Steven Rodrigues, Theresa Rodrigues and her husband Douglas Clark. Cherished grandfather of Penelope Clark, Cristiano Rodrigues, Antonio “TJ” Rodrigues Jr., Cristian Rodrigues, Kyle Rodrigues and Mitchell Rodrigues. Beloved brother of Jose Rodrigues, Manuel Rodrigues, Norberto Carroca, Ilda Santos, Maria Vieira, Graca Travassos and the late Maria da Costa. Also survived by nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.

9th Annual Playworks Run for Recess 5K

The 9th Annual Playworks Run for Recess 5K takes place Saturday, May 19.

On Saturday, May 19, students and staff members from four Somerville schools will participate in the 9th Annual Playworks Run for Recess 5K presented by Playworks New England in partnership with the New Balance Foundation. Funds raised through the family friendly 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run, which will take place along Franklin Park’s world-famous cross country course adjacent to the zoo in Roxbury, will support play and physical activity in 140 elementary schools across New England.

Chris Hersch is a former member of Girls Guns and Glory, who won the 2011 Boston Music Award for Americana Artist of the Year.
