24044429: On 7/24/24 at approximately 5:23 p.m., Somerville Police responded to Richdale Ave for report of a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she was walking her dog and was then punched by her neighbor after they got into an argument. Officers identified the suspect.

I am writing to express my frustration with the ongoing construction projects in Somerville, particularly those on Summer Street, Highland Avenue, and Washington Street between Beacon Avenue and Union Square. The overlap of these significant projects is lowering the quality of life for anyone living near these projects, which cover a significant area of town.

Heat advisory for Somerville Aug. 1-2

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Somerville and the region Thursday afternoon and Friday (August 1 and 2), with “feels-like” temperatures up to 96 degrees expected. Feels-like temperatures may still reach 90 degrees over the weekend and community members are encouraged to take precautions to stay cool, healthy, and safe throughout the coming days.

Have you seen those robot looking things all over the city? The one in the photo is on Holland St. in front of Harvard Vanguard. I hear they are all over the city. Supposedly it takes a photo of illegally stopped or parked in a no parking zone. We are quickly running out of precious parking spaces in Somerville.
