Update: All employees have been tested and retested and all have tested negative, Trina’s Starlite Lounge is now open.

A restaurant in Somerville, Trina’s Starlite Lounge, announced last week that it has temporarily closed after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee is asymptomatic and is said to have not been in contact with customers.

Curtatone and Ward 4 City Councilor Jesse Clingan invite residents to participate in a community meeting on the Healey School tot lot renovation project on Thursday, April 15, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Landscape architects from Warner Larson Landscape Architects will review the construction schedule and plans, which include the Healey tot lot and schoolyard, a new U-12 recreation field, and a new ADA ramp and staircase that will connect the Healey School and Mystic Housing.

Somerville Police officers were dispatched to Mike’s Restaurant in Davis Square last Friday afternoon on reports of a fight.

Upon arrival, the officers spotted a man, later identified as Adan Avalos, reportedly throwing punches at various people outside of the main entrance to the restaurant.

Schools in Somerville are getting ready for students to return to classrooms in April.

The Somerville School Committee Meeting on Monday night began with presenting details of the hybrid return to school, which is currently in its 3rd phase, as of April 5 teachers returned and on April 8 students in grades 3-6 will return to the in-person hybrid classes.
