Open House Will Showcase Proposed Street Safety Improvements and Collect Neighborhood Feedback
Mayor Katjana Ballantyne, Ward 7 Councilor Judy Pineda Neufeld, and the City of Somerville Office of Mobility are inviting the community to an open house to discuss proposed new designs for Broadway between Clarendon Avenue and Alewife Brook Parkway. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the West Somerville Neighborhood School (177 Powder House Blvd).

Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the City of Somerville Economic Development Division announce the New Small Business Vitality grant program. Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the program is designed to foster the vitality and growth of small businesses, providing essential support to budding entrepreneurs. The New Small Business Vitality Grant offers up to 12 months of rental support for new physical storefronts up to a maximum of $50,000.
