Capture a little bit of the Somerville Community Growing Center’s magic this Sunday, at their annual Harvest Festival. There will be harvest activities and games, pumpkin decorating and a celebration of the bounty nature shares throughout the year. The festival will run from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., 22 Vinal Ave. All are welcome.
The Somerville Y is proud to announce a partnership with the above-mentioned companies to ensure the longstanding mission of the Somerville Y continues well into the future as it has done for the past 156 years. These companies were chosen not only for their well-known accomplishments in their respective fields but also for their strong individual beliefs in giving back to the communities in which they operate as well as reside.

The color blue has existed for millennia, influencing great works of art as well as ordinary, but treasured, household objects. It carries many associations including calm, sadness, royalty, and peace. Even the many different words for the color blue evoke emotions–turquoise, indigo, cerulean, periwinkle, cobalt, aquamarine. It lives in our world all around us in the blue sky and ocean waves.
