February MBTA service changes update

The MBTA announced service changes in February on the Red, Orange, Green, Fitchburg Commuter Rail, and Lowell Commuter Rail lines. The MBTA will continue working to improve service reliability across the system, recognizing the challenges service changes cause for riders. The MBTA encourages riders to use alternative shuttle bus options available.

On 1/11/24 at approximately 5:08 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a property on Walnut St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated he came to close the property and noticed a glass door was broken and the alarm was triggered. Nothing was reported missing.
