Somerville Media Center cites COVID 19 concerns for decision

After careful deliberation at the Somerville Media Center meeting of t the board of directors, the decision was reached that the Somerville Media Center’s 2020 Honors Gala, scheduled for April 16, at the Center for the Arts at the Armory, has been postponed to a yet to be determined future date.
This decision was reached out of concerns for the health and safety of the general public and SMC’s members and staff in light of the uncertainty surrounding the spread of the COVID 19 virus.

SMC sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but we look forward to hosting our Honors event when the levels of uncertainty surrounding the health and safety of the general public subside.

To those sponsors and attendees that have contributed toward or purchased tickets for the event, SMC is truly grateful for your support. And we intend to reach out directly to you with regard to refund and rescheduling options.
