Connecting people with programs that support independence and well-being is central to our mission at Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) — so it is with great pleasure that we invite the community to join us at Elder Fair 2019.
Now in its 20th year, Elder Fair is a free health and wellness expo that showcases useful services and government programs for older adults, caregivers, and people with disabilities.
Elder Fair 2019 will feature 62 organizations and vendors, which will provide a wealth of information and promotional giveaways. Numerous exhibitors will be on-hand to provide free screenings for blood pressure, balance, bone density, and more.
The expo will also feature several SCES programs, including:
The Aging Information Center free information and guidance on aging-related issues.
Adult Family Care a MassHealth-funded program that supports live-in caregivers.
Community Living Options a private pay program that provides a wide range of support services, including care management, relocation assistance, and facilitating family discussions about care.
Elder Fair 2019 will take place at the Holiday Inn Boston-Bunker Hill (30 Washington St. in Somerville), from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.
