Somerville Media Center and Winter Hill Brewery are teaming up for a super fun Valentine’s Day themed fundraiser event on Tuesday, February 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Winter Hill Brewery.

They are inviting their friends, neighbors, community media producers and supporters to come drink local beer at Winter Hill Brewery as a way to help raise funds for SMC.

That is right! For each beer sold, $1 will go to SMC and to help support Somerville’s premiere Community Media Center. You can also just come to show your community media love for SMC and network with SMC staff, producers and learn more about our upcoming 2019 workshop calendar, events and membership!

SMC has been offering affordable and accessible media education and production training to the community since 1983 and is home to many locally produced TV shows, radio shows, podcasts, community partnerships, youth media programming, film festivals, media mixer events and much more. They are here to serve our community and be a community resource.

ADDED BONUS FOR COMING: For those who purchase a beer, SMC will record for you a FREE Happy Valentine’s Day Video Message (or anti-VDAY message, a message of love, hope or whatever you are feeling). Somerville Media Center will share all these videos on SCATV Channel 3, SMC social media, and YouTube. All participants will receive their video in an email with a link.
