Poet Sergio Inestrosa writes, “From my book Unstop Moon (Luna que no cesa) translated by Margaret Young three senryus.” Inestrosa is a professor at Endicott College, and the author of several poetry collections.
La blanca luna
le dio la espalda al sol,
la noche entera.
The white moon
turned his back to the sun,
the whole night.
La luz de luna
acaricia tu cuerpo;
sueño contigo.
The moonlight
caresses your body
I dream of you.
Sapos y ranas
a la luz de la luna,
chasquido de agua.
Toads and frogs
in the light of the moon,
clicking of water.
— Sergio Inestrosa
