Charles Joseph Breen died peacefully on November 26, 2018 with his wife by his side. Mike, as he was known, was born on October 17, 1934 in Winchester, MA, the son of James and Lena. Charles was the beloved husband of Dolores “Dee” (Murphy) and the cherished father of Charles Jr. (Kathy), Tracy Birchall (Paul), Scott (Sharon), Cindy Breen-Langevin (Peter) and Todd (Michelle). Adored grandfather of Patrick, Caitlin, Caroline, Aidan, Murphy Langevin and Sophia. Predeceased by his eight siblings; James, Henry, Thomas, Bill, Francis, George, Alice and Robert. Veteran of U.S. Air Force, retired Somerville Firefighter.

Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at 11am at St. Clements Church, Medford, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charles’ name to The Shriners Burn Institute, Boston MA. There will be no visiting hours.
