Somerville hosted one of only two parades in the region in honor of Veterans Month in November (the second is the Veterans Day Parade currently planned in Boston for November 11).

The Somerville Veterans Memorial Parade was similar in format to the Memorial Day Parade and celebrated the service and sacrifice of our Veterans and their families as Veterans month is kicked off in Somerville. The Somerville Veterans Memorial Parade stepped off from City Hall at noon on November 4, and followed the same route down Highland Ave. through Davis Square and ending in Teele Square.
