Well, isn’t this just a peachy development. Now we get to play Cowboys
and Indians again, and the Indians are turning over in their graves at
the thought of being further exploited by this bunch of Cowboys at City
Hall who get an extra day off. And for what reason? So they get to feel
all smug and politically correct? And waste yet more time yap, yapping
about everything and doing nothing. Too bad the Indians can’t rise up
from their graves, muster on the horizon, and fall like a hurricane on City
Hall and bring scalping back into fashion again. But where to begin? The
    Mayor? The Board of Aldermen?

May the Indian Gods save us from those who would be politically correct.

What’s next, Millers River Remembrance Day?

Wow. That was just about the dumbest thing I’ve read in quite some time. And that’s really saying something with all the dumbness going around these days. What a maroon.

Well, “born and raised in Somerville all my life” people, you’re the closest thing we have to Indigenous Peoples remaining here in Somerville so I guess this is your day. Here’s to you!

It’s a day to reflect on what happens to society that has poor immigration policies and allows anyone to come in and settle.

Good point. The Europeans made a real mess of things when they crashed their way in uninvited. I guess that’s the whole point of the holiday.
