    Ward 6 dumps Mike

  2. Jeff Rooster says:

    Down goes Capuano!

  3. Yet another poster says:

Trump is no doubt shaking in his boots with fear as he watched our party get rid of its white liberals and replace them with non-white liberals. That’ll show him!

  4. Ernie Bola says:

Old Mike got smoked simply because of identity politics. You can’t vote any more left/progressive than Mike did. But I do believe it’s the best thing for him in the long run. He looked unhealthy when I ran into him a few weeks ago and who needs “friends” like the progressive mob we have running things now? Better off riding into the sunset. They’ll end up eating their own soon enough and he can sit back and laugh. That’s what mobs do.

That being said – the sad part is he would have been chairman of the transportation committee next year (after Dems win the house back). Think GLX expansion, bike lanes, improvements to roads – all that Mike would have steered more towards MA (and Somerville!) then ever before. She will not chair any committees (she’s too junior) and she may not get any committees that are worth anything. We lost that all because the progressives decided that skin pigmentation and virtual signalling was more important than a proven voting record on issues.

Being a progressive truly is a mental disorder. No one uses their brains.

If Trump is to take any credit for anything by being President, we can thank him for waking up the American people. If things are changing in this country, it’s because people have simply gotten fed up with our government being self-serving and clearly not in the interest of its own people. The President and his cabinet want us to go back to the 1950s in both attitude and law.

There’s nothing wrong with progress, but only if it truly serves everyone. Progress should not set us backwards. Over-populating cities and taking away everything that makes a city worth living in is not the way to make things better. We don’t need more, we need better, and unfortunately the latter is sorely lacking.

We need real progress here, people in government positions who actually care about their constituents and want to make things better for them, not for those who stand to gain monetarily.

Thank you, President Trump, for making us realize that we have been complacent for far too long, and that we need to actually get involved in what our government is doing for us. People are sending a clear message that our current government attitude is not what America is all about.

“Make America Great Again” is what people will be saying when he’s no longer running this country. That’s when it will really mean something.
