DAY DREAMING
Awoke drowsy after a midday nap.
Sat down in my comfortable chair
Sipped iced tea and relaxed.
Fire in my soul puts me in transit.
The coast is clear. Let me dream….
Imagination is a never ending vine.
The dark threatening clouds morphed
Into white silver ones. Weeping raindrops
are over. O’er head is a rainbow.
Magically appears a Victorian home.
Clouds pivoted and blue pools of water came
Decided to sunbathe.
A concert is beginning. Fairies synchronized their skins
Together. Presented themselves in pastel colors.
With holes in their mouths, angels sang.
