Thelma Anne (Robbins) Carriger – 86, A Lifelong resident of Somerville passed away on July 14, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Donald W. Carriger, Sr.

Loving mother of Donald W. Carriger, Jr. of Somerville, Judith A. Podymaitis and her husband Michael of Somerville, Douglas B. Carriger and his wife Bonnie of Medford, Janice C. Johnston and her husband David of Attleboro.

Dear grandmother of Christopher D. Podymaitis, Kayla M. Johnston, Ryan G. Johnston and Samantha J. Carriger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Wednesday 4-8 pm.

A Funeral Home Service will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 am followed by Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

Thelma was a member of Tonoquon Chapter #100 OES and Boston Tea Party Daughters of American Revolution. If you wish memorial donations may be made in her name to Grand Chapter of MA OES for Isadore Forbes Benevolent Fund, PO Box 600583, Newtonville, MA 02460.

She was also a Retired Sales Person and Buyer for Jordan Marsh Stores.
