This past Saturday night, May 19, the Little Sisters of the Poor on Highland Avenue held their Annual Fundraiser Dinner, this year at the Arts at the Armory across the street.
A Vigil Mass for Pentecost Sunday with his Eminence, Cardinal Sean O’Malley OFM, Cap., Celebrant was held at 4:30 p.m. Then at 6:00 p.m. about 250 supporters and friends of the home here in Somerville attended a beautifully decorated hall and a full dinner, which was catered by the owners of Olde Magoun’s Saloon in Magoun Square. They did a fantastic job catering with the help of students from Somerville High.
After the dinner an auction was held and everyone who attended was thanked for their support at this event.
