April Media Mixer & Pitch Event

Sunday, April 29 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Arts at the Armory Cafe

Let’s celebrate creativity by throwing a Media Mixer and Pitch event! Come to the event to meet other media makers, filmmakers, editors, actors, aspiring creatives and more. They also welcome attendees to PITCH their ideas and skills to others in the room. Use this space to talk through your project ideas, help craft the logistics, and even market your own skills.

At this mixer, they are joined by their creative friends at Women in Film and Video: New England for this media mixer as they will share more about who they are and the work they do in the film and media industry.

STUDIOLAB & Free Camera Training

Monday, April 30, 8:00 p.m. at SMC Studios

Want to be part of a crew? Want to help out but don’t have training? No worries. They are organizing a special FREE TV Studio Camera trainings on Monday, April 30 from 8:00pm – 8:30pm. Following the training, they will have their first in-house production called STUDIOLAB from 8:30-9:30pm. This is staff led and member supported.

We are offering this free TV Main Studio Camera class for Creative Collective members. They are specifically targeting you all because they understand that you have required quarterly volunteer hours (5 hours) and this way when there is a need for crew assistance, you can help out.
