The Harlem Wizards took on city staffers in a fundraising exhibition match with proceeds from the citywide event going to scholarships for Somerville High School Seniors.

It truly was a community event with multiple police officers, firefighters, alderman – current and prior – and school committee members. Mayor Curtatone and School Superintendent Mary Skipper were the “Somerville Schoolsters” coaches. Mayor Curtatone was introduced to the audience as “Sylvester Stallone.” It was definitely one community enjoying an evening together!

This fun filled basketball game was hosted by the Somerville PTA Scholarship Committee and all of the PTA Units in the city.

The Harlem Wizards won the game with a final score of 52 to 31.
