A 17-year-old suspected of stabbing a man at the corner of Central and Medford streets Friday night fled the scene in a Mercedes Benz, police said.

Ryan Baugh, of 525 Somerville Avenue, allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old Somerville man multiple times after the man was seen yelling and banging on the hood of Baugh’s car.

When police caught up to Baugh in Cambridge, they allegedly found four bags of cocaine and Baugh eager to tell them about the stabbing.

He told an officer, “I know what this is about” and started his story, police said. The detective stopped Baugh and told him his Miranda rights which Baugh then waived, police said. Police said he made an incriminating statement.

Two knives were found in Baugh’s car, police said.

The victim was stabbed in his side and was treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said. A friend of the victim took down the license plate number as the Benz fled towards Highland Avenue, police said.

Baugh was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a class B drug.
