The city’s annual rabies clinic gives residents an easy and affordable opportunity to have their dogs and cats vaccinated against the rabies virus. On-site dog licenses are also available. All Somerville residents are required to license their dogs, and a current rabies vaccine is required to obtain a license.

When you arrive, enter the gate to the right of the main building and follow signs for the Rabies Clinic. The cost of the vaccine is $10 for both dogs and cats. The cost of a dog license is $20 for spayed and neutered dogs with proof and $30 for all other dogs. Please note that cats must be in carriers and dogs must be leashed. Prior vaccination records are not required, and all vaccinations will be valid for one year.
