Be Gentle
We are delicate humans
Our hearts weigh heavy
This world only blackens our hearts
We turn cold from all this hate
People taunting kills
another spirit breaking their dreams
They wither away into a frail crisp flower
They say plant another seed. Like it’s that easy..
Grow, be kind, gentle,loving
let your soft petals bloom in your life.
Shine! But your hurt becomes their hurt cycling through to each home.
Learned hate through poverty, greed, jealousy, and discrimination.
It’s a storm that covers this earth like a dark shadow
and yet we still seek hope,
Light in every corner,
Love with every chance,
Grow another seed and
Love everyday, and cherish our family
because time is ticking,
and we have to live in today,
so be kind
and make it beautiful.
— Krystal LaPorta
