Pictured here at the Brigham House Bazaar this past Saturday is Somerville’s own Lynne Lenoir and Dorothy DiMarzo, who every year donate their time and creative skills to help raise funds for Brigham House in Watertown.
Upon visiting them this past Saturday, we bought some of Dorothy’s homemade Cranberry Chutney and some cocoa mix as well as a homemade batch of other items including creative soap.
Lynne, a nurse by profession, is a lifelong Somerville resident, as is Dorothy.
We here at The Times are big fans of these two ladies, who are always smiling and great to be around. And yes, we’re waiting here at the office because Dorothy is bringing us some homemade brownies.
On a serious note, Dorothy and Lynne are always around the city stopping in on many of the local eateries and have been writing about the experience.
Brigham House is an Assisted Living facility in Watertown. Residents and their families are given the special opportunity to kick off their holiday shopping within the comfort of their own home. As always, the public is welcome.
There was plenty of holiday cheer, with complimentary sweet treats throughout the day. The bazaar puts everyone is the holiday spirit, and Brigham House always looks forward to seeing everyone there!
