Now accepting submissions for the Young Somerville Advisory Group logo contest

The Young Somerville Advisory Group (YSAG) is looking for a new logo for print and web collateral.  The logo should reproduce well in newsletters, flyers, T-shirts, mugs, etc.  We’re seeking an image consistent with the mission (included below) that conveys community, unity and young energy.  The logo should be bold and not too “busy,” must include the name, Young Somerville Advisory Group and can be text only or text and image.

Use of color is great, but your logo should also look great in black and white. The image should be distinct when reduced to roughly one square inch. If your design is selected, we will require a final version in 300dpi TIFF and JPEG formats

Submit a sketch, or low-res jpeg to youngsomervilleadvisorygroup@gmail.com and a contact page with your name, address, phone number, and email address by Wednesday, September 15, 2010.  The selected artist will receive a $150.00 stipend and gets their design out there for the world to see.
