Six students represented the Somerville Public Schools at the Massachusetts All-State Treble Chorus concert on Saturday, March 12. The All-State Treble Chorus is an auditioned chorus of singers in grades 4, 5, and 6 from all over Massachusetts. In preparation for this month’s performance, the chorus had the opportunity to work with Dr. Rollo Dilworth, a world-famous conductor and composer.
The Somerville students who earned a spot on this year’s All-State Treble Chorus were Marisa Lopez (Argenziano, grade 6), Tatiana Pineda (Argenziano, grade 6), Theresa Romano (Argenziano, grade 5), Katja Szturma (Brown School, grade 5), Elena Davis (Brown School, grade 5), and Susanna Buckley (Brown School, grade 6). Congratulations to these students for their hard work.
