Some rumors floating around the city recently over speculation that IKEA has decided not to build here in Somerville and is backing out. We even heard a high rise building have decided to move on as well. Seems as if these rumors will stay rumors: why would IKEA give the city a check last week for $100,000?

Also remember to support our friend Sal DiDominco who’s district only has two precincts here in Somerville (some of us wish he represented the entire city). He was just elected earlier this year in a special election and has to turn around and face another election in a matter of months. We support Sal, in the short months he’s been there he’s done a great job for his constituents.
