Our poet this week writes: “My name is Eric Goudreau, a Sophomore at Endicott College majoring in Liberal Studies. I find great joy in writing creatively and decided to write a poem about my confusion of a Fall day.”
Confusion on a Fall Day
A thick layer of leaves at my feet
But the weather attempts to fool me
The heat and sun beat down like a heart
The ocean plays a fool
probably as cold as an icicle.
It makes you wonder,
What is the fall?
A purgatory
for the hell
of winter.
— Eric Goudreau
