A
39-year-old homeless man asked a woman if she wanted to "get together"
and "get high" on May 17 before fighting the woman's boyfriend on
Garfield Avenue, police said this week.

Matthew Douglas, 39,
punched the victim three times in front of a police officer as the
victim screamed, "Get him off me please someone," police said. An
officer then grabbed Douglas' right arm as he prepared to punch again,
police said.

Douglas was arrested and charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
