Two juveniles tried to rob a man at knife point in Lincoln Park Aug. 19 before a Traffic and Parking employee chased them away, police said.

One of the juveniles was able to flee while the other was caught, police said. Officers searched the area with a police dog but couldn’t come up with the second suspect, police said.

The victim was sitting in Lincoln Park at 10:24 p.m. working on his laptop when two men with bandannas over their faces approached him, police said. One of the men pointed a knife at the victim and said, “Give us your [stuff],” police said.

The victim refused to give up his belongings, police said. A Traffic and Parking employee working in the area was cutting through the park and yelled at the robbers to stop, police said.

The robbers grabbed a brief case from the victim and ran away.

The victim identified a 15-year-old Cambridge boy as the one who robbed him, police said. Police allegedly found a steak knife and red bandanna on the boy. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
