Last Wednesday, a well-represented group of both Somerville Police Officers and youth from Teen employment turned up at Grimmons Park in the Ten Hills for discussion and to walk together through the neighborhood.
This was their last time this summer to take the walk, at which time they presented a survey on how the community is doing and what can be done to improve it to those whose paths they crossed.
No aldermen showed up for the walk, but State Representative Christine Barber was present and traveled with the group.
The walk proceeded through the Mystic Projects, down to Foss Park and back to Grimmons Park in the Ten Hills.
For more information on the joint venture between the police and teens, you can go to the Somerville Police Department’s website and actually take the survey yourself.
