I am writing to thank my supporters during my bid for the 34th Middlesex District seat. Although I did not win the race, I know that Medford and Somerville will continue to thrive. I have walked the streets of this district, knocked on almost every door and talked to the residents and listened to their concerns. Although there is still a lot of work to be done in the district, I believe the commitment the residents have to their community will prevail.
Many of you have helped me along this journey and I am deeply grateful. There were those that walked with me and knocked on doors, those that held signs, those that reached out to friends and family in order to help a local man get his name and message out there. I am humbled by the amount of support and know that I must continue to work for this community.
Medford and Somerville are two cities that have a rich and diverse history and I am incredibly proud to say that I grew up here and where I continue to live. Although I will not be your State Representative at this time, I promise to continue this journey by working hard and to fight to address the concerns and issues that many of you have expressed to me while on the campaign trail.
Thank you again for all for the support I have been shown. That support is my driving force to push forward and make this a community we are all proud to call home.
Thank you,
Nick Lanzilli
