About Community Survey: SCATV has been serving the community since 1983. We’ve grown to be quite rooted and interwoven into the rich culture that continues to exist here in Somerville. We have trained over thousands of residents and media makers, empowering them and providing them with tools that enable them to create media which they can then share with others. However, we want to find out what specific things people know about us. We are asking a few brief questions that will help us improve our visibility in Somerville.

About This is My Square contest: Additionally, we also want to learn more about your favorite spots in Somerville and we invite you to submit a picture of your favorite place, restaurant, statue, tiny museum, or hidden gem in one of Somerville’s Squares! Winners will be entered into a drawing for dinner for two at La Brasa Somerville and two Somerville Theatre tickets (a huge high five to those two fine Somerville establishments for donating those gift certificates!). The winner will be announced on SCATV Ch. 3 during Somerville Neighborhood News at 7pm (which also airs online at www.scatvsomerville.org/watch). All pictures submitted will be edited into a slideshow that will broadcast on Ch. 3 daily til the end of August.

Deadline: July 25. Winner to be announced on Somerville Neighborhood News on July 29 at 7 p.m. on SCATV Ch.3.
