A Somerville man embroiled in a fight over poor driving sped away from police officers while shouting profanities on Sunday. Frantz Desenclos, 31, of 397 Broadway, was fighting with a cab driver over a road rage incident when officers arrived at the scene, police said. |
The officers told Desenclos and the cab driver to get in their cars and drive away but Desenclos remained, with his car blocking two lanes of traffic on Broadway, and shouted at the officers, police said.
"There were two teenage girls sitting at the bus stop who were forced to listen to the filth which spewed from Desenclos' mouth. After several orders, Desclones finally entered his vehicle, nevertheless, he continued to shout obscenities at the police," Officer Michael McGrath wrote in a police report.
Desclones drove through a red traffic light, looked back at officers and shouted, "Go f— yourselves," according to police.
When officers stopped Desenclos, he allegedly said, "Go ahead, arrest me."
Desenclos was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and failure to yield at a stop signal.
