Two Vietnamese workers have died and two others remain hospitalized as a result of injuries sustained during the deadly Sept. 2 blaze at 4 Foskett St.

Toan Bui died during the fire, his body burned beyond recognition. Ha Vu, a fellow worker, died at 2:52 p.m. on Friday Sept. 3 at Massachusetts General Hospital, said a spokeswoman.

Vu sustained fatal injuries as he fled the burning building where he was helped by an off-duty city firefighter, Elliot J. Kerner. Kerner directed Vu to safety and tried to ease his pain with water from a neighbor’s garden hose.

Kerner said he believed Vu to have suffered third degree burns to 100% of his body.

Nam Dao and Trung Le survived the fire and are currently at Mass General. Dao is listed in critical condition and Le is listed in good condition, said the hospital’s spokeswoman.
