Dear Editor:

I read your insinuations about a certain candidate (“NewsTalk” 9/16/04) with great displeasure. You endorsed Vinnie Ciampa and he lost, so now you are whining about it? You allege someone bought the election. Shame on you. Democracy is a system whereby voters determine the elected officials. The winner of Middlesex 34 got 107 votes more than his opponent. If Mr. Ciampa didn’t take his opponent’s race seriously, then that was his mistake. Congratulations and good luck to the new Representative. You have my support regardless of the baseless and decidely unjournalistic views of the Somerville News.
