Davis Square comic and impressario Jimmy Tingle will perform Wednesday for a fundraiser for Ward 6 Alderman John M. “Jack” Connolly’s re-election campaign committee.

The event will begin with a social hour at Davis Square’s The Burren pub from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a show at Tingle’s Off-Broadway Theater.
