The Board of Alderman recognized The Somerville News the paper’s support of the city’s Memorial Day Parade with a citation at Thursday’s regular meeting.

Sponsored by Alderman-at-large Dennis M. Sullivan, the citation specifically thanked The Somerville News for arranging and sponsoring the entertainment at the parade committee’s April 20 by the U.S.O. Troupe of Metropolitan New York.
