Community activist and law student Domingos R. Santos Jr. announced today his intention to challenge incumbant Ward 4 Alderman Walter F. Pero.

Santos, who had been running a campaign for one of the board’s four at-large seats, said he was looking forward to having a more direct impact on his neighborhood as a ward alderman.
