Handmade art meets man’s best friend at Assembly Row in Somerville,  Pet-Palooza and the ASSEMBLED art market come together on Saturday August 3.

Each Saturday over the summer artisans flock to ASSEMBLED to sell their handmade items including gorgeous jewelry, clothing, house wares, bath products, and more! Combine that with live music and food trucks (Bon Me, Frozen Hoagies, & Clover – to name a few!) for a fun and festive shopping experience.

But on Saturday, August 3, ASSEMBLED will have gone to the dogs – literally. Pet Palooza, featuring DockDogs, will join the fun with a wildly entertaining canine aquatics competition. Although ASSEMBLED will only be set up on the 3rd, Pet Palooza is a weekend-long event and will also include dog training exhibitions, children’s activities, food trucks, local not-for-profit animal organizations and other vendors.

Sunday, August 4, Pet Palooza features local not-for-profit animal organizations and rescue groups including Paws New England, Kitty Connection, and Animal Rescue League of Boston. Any non-profits interested in attending should contact Sarah Campbell at scampbell@federalrealty.com.

Pet Palooza features two full days of pets and play at Assembly Row in Somerville. Only an 8 minute drive from Boston, the festival features DockDogs along with dog training exhibitions, children’s activities, local food trucks and local non-profit animal organizations and rescue groups.

DockDogs is the world’s premiere canine aquatics competition and will be at Assembly Row for two full days of four-legged entertainment. These pups jump and fly into a 30,000-gallon pool, like nothing you’ve ever seen before.
