Somerville businessman Tony Lafuente, who lost to Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone in the 2003 mayoral race told The Somerville News he will not pull papers today to run in 2005.

Lafuente said he was amused by the rumors that he would challenge the mayor, but would honor his personal pledge to Curtatone that he give the mayor time to implement his programs.
