Voices Swimming in My Ears
See the world from the inside of my sweater
The earth is fuzzy and blue
Just like the water’s mood
What I would give to take a sip and one little dip
Of my toes in the deep blue waters
Of this narcissistic world
The only other thing uncontrolled
Like a wild race out to the boats
Is how I can’t help but think you’re not alone
I’m left on shore
Left on shore
Developing opinions when everyone’s so full
Of their hypocritical views, senseless and dull
This is a worldwide alert:
From some heart to hope
Carve your dreams out soon
Before they go afloat
– Kenzie Radigan
