Tenant Group Celebrates Victory Over Landlord

An East Somerville tenant association tonight announced they made a major step in convincing their landlord to keep their building low-income and subsidized.

The Mount Vernon Tenant Association met at the Ralph and Jenny Center to celebrate the efforts of the residents of four low income Mt. Vernon street buildings and the Somerville Community Corporation in advocating for their rights to landlord Guy Morello, who wanted to privatize his land.
