Toomey Offers Mount Vernon Street Tenant Association His Support

    State Representative Timothy J. Toomey Jr., D-Cambridge, has pledged his support to a group of Somerville residents who are attempting to convince their landlord to renew his affordable housing agreement on four Mount Vernon Street properties.

    "Affordable housing is a critical issue in Somerville. These good people are at risk of losing their homes and have asked me to help. I am prepared to do everything I can to help these people keep their homes. This is exactly what I have been elected to do and I will do it," said Toomey.
