Progressive Democrats of Somerville Announce Candidate Forum

The organization committed to holding democratic leaders to their party’s platform will host a public forum July 11 for candidates seeking elected office in this year’s municipal elections.

25 of the 29 candidates for Board of Alderman and School Committee have expressed interest in attaining PDS’ endorsement, said PDS press secretary Justin Klekota.

Klekota said interested candidates were invited to complete a questionnaire and speak at the forum which will be held at the Somerville Visiting Nurses Association located at 259 Lowell Street.
