Funeral and wake set for deceased officer

The services to honor a Somerville police officer who passed away August 16 have been finalized. Chief Robert R. Bradley today said the wake for Detective Daniel J. Ryan Jr. will be at the Cota Funeral Home at 197 Washington Street Thursday August 18th.

The funeral mass will be Friday August 19th at 9:00 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Church in Union Square. Ryan will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
