Land swap at Assembly Square

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone announced today that Assembly Square developer Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRIT) and Swedish furniture retailer IKEA have agreed in principle to swap parcels of land, thus freeing up nearly 16 additional acres along the Mystic River for mixed use development.
