Crook robs bank, in retro style

Somerville police are looking for a man they say walked into the Sovereign Bank at 125 Broadway Monday and, wearing a large afro wig, passed a note to the bank teller demanding money.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs between 160 and 180 pound, said police. The man fled in a white motor vehicle towards Sullivan Square. Anyone with information is urged to contact Somerville Police Detectives at 617-625-1600.
