El Sistema Somerville and East Somerville Main Streets will be presenting “Sounds of the City, Music of the World,” a free cross-cultural workshop and concert each First Tuesday of the Month at the East Somerville Community School, 8 Bonair Street. The workshop will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. with a concert from 5:00-5:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public. A light reception will follow each event.
The series is funded in part by the Somerville Arts Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and will feature the following artists:
